The problem is with the word "Sign" which has been misinterpreted by both Christians and Muslims as the Second Coming. The correct interpretation of "He [Jesus] is a Sign of the Hour [of Resurrection]" is that the Paraclete's coming and commencing the Resurrection is the Sign. In other words, sign means “A discernible indication of what is not itself directly perceptible. Sign applies to any indication to be perceived by the senses or the reason.” So it is not about Jesus coming in person but of the Paraclete that is not itself directly perceptible. The Paraclete explains everything about Jesus, the Kingdom of God, Last Judgment and Resurrection — that is the Sign of Jesus! I would like your comprehension of Sign so that Muslims in particular and Christians, Jews and others in general understand the Quran's take on Jesus.

I doubt Muslims know much about this sura 43:61. However, given the fact that the Resurrection is the central theme of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, Muslims will in future be compelled to face this fact. Since the Quran is declaring Jesus to be the Sign of the Hour (Age) of the Resurrection Muslims will have to face this stark reality—accept the Paraclete and Her message of the Resurrection or be condemned to Hell. For Muslims this is a most painful and frightening prospect. For those reading this their labeling of non-Muslims as kaffirs (disbelievers) will come to a grinding halt. In other words, they themselves will be kaffirs as they will not believe this Great Announcement (Al-Naba) of the commencement of the Resurrection (Al-Qiyamah).

So what is the Ummah awaiting but for the Hour of Doomsday to come upon them suddenly? The Signs that the End is approaching have already come. What good will the Reminder that Al-Qiyamah—Al Qadr (Night Of Power And Fate)—has begun be for them when Doomsday—Al Qari'h (The Day Of Noise And Clamour)—does suddenly arrive? What good will be the grace period of His Mercy, Al Qadr (Night Of Power And Fate), be when His Wrath, Al Qari'h (The Day Of Noise And Clamour), suddenly descends on all mankind? Do they only wait for the Hour of Al Qari'h (The Day Of Noise And Clamour) that it should come on them all of a sudden, while they perceive not Al Qadr (Night Of Power And Fate)?

The prophecies of the Holy Koran are devastatingly precise and will run their course! Those Muslims reading these lines are forewarned, in no uncertain terms, that those disputing the Great News that the Resurrection has commenced will soon find that out when they stand before Allah (SWT) and be judged for their disbelief (since they are literally waiting for 'graves to open up', a centuries-old misconception):

But to all who believe, no fear shall be on you that Day, nor shall ye grieve, being among those who have believed in His Signs and bowed their wills in submission to the Great News of the Resurrection! Jesus, who promised the Paraclete who will complete his message, indeed is the Sign of the Hour. Have no doubt about it as we are indeed living in the End Times.

THE GLAD TIDINGS OF THE MESSIAH
INTRODUCTION

Prophets and Messengers have been sent to all nations throughout history to teach the core concepts of the same religion: to believe in the one and only God, to abandon idolatry, to live and do good deeds only for God's good pleasure, to have faith in God and to seek His help alone, and to be virtuous. The principles of faith that they have taught to humanity have always been the same, despite some slight differences in practical matters according to place and time. For instance, Jesus (peace be upon him)1 did not bring a different religion, and the religion revealed to Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed (may God bless him and grant him peace), the last prophet, is the same. (In other words, the Torah sent to Moses and the Gospel sent to Jesus as guiding lights for people, have been tampered over time and so are no longer true to their respective original revelations.2) In one verse, God tells believers not to distinguish between revealed religions:

Say: "We believe in God and what has been sent down to us; what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes; and what Moses, Jesus, and all the Prophets were given by their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them. We are Muslims submitted to Him.” (Qur'n, 3:84)

Another verse reveals the following:

He has laid down the same religion for you as He enjoined on Noah, that which We have revealed to you and which We enjoined upon Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: "Establish the religion and do not make divisions in it.” What you call the idolaters to follow is very hard for them. God chooses for Himself anyone He wills and guides to Himself those who turn to Him. (Qur'n, 42:13)

Our Lord, Who has sent His religion to all nations, has cautioned all of their inhabitants through those He honored by choosing as Prophets. Every human being who has received the call to the true religion will be held accountable for how he or she responded to it.

The lives of God's chosen Messengers contain many messages and lessons for all people, especially when we study their encounters, their troubles, and their great struggles. The Qur'n cites Jesus as an example for people to follow, because of how he conducted his life and his struggle, and because of his great virtue.

Jesus' birth, life, and ascension to God's presence are all miracles that the Qur'n reveals in some detail. Although God reveals the narratives of many Prophets, Jesus, whom God supported with superior wisdom, is set apart from the others in several aspects, among them that he spoke even in the cradle, and that he was the vehicle for countless miracles while he was in this world. That his status is different also can be deduced from the fact that he was raised to God's presence and that the Qur'n indicates strongly his second coming.

The book seeks to analyze Jesus' life and struggle, as well as his virtue and character, closely and to spread the good news of his second coming in light of the relevant Qur'nic verses and hadiths (the sayings and teachings of the Prophet Mohammed). Our Lord gives important signs about Jesus and the future (the time between the Qur'n's revelation and the Day of Judgment) in the Qur'n, and the Prophet Mohammed (may God bless him and grant him peace) revealed much good news about him. The valuable information about Jesus' great struggle after his second coming, provided by the renowned Islamic scholar Bediuzzaman Said Nursi (1877-1960), is a glad tiding for all readers and should increase their excitement and lift their morale. All of this, as we said previously, shows that Jesus' creation was miraculous and that his life continued to be full of miracles.

While reading this book, the reader will come to know of his miraculous life and realize that we live in a very special time. One purpose of this work, besides drawing attention to an important miracle revealed in the Qur'n, is to say a 'practical' prayer in the hope of being present when Jesus, a praised Messenger who is lauded in the Qur'n many times, returns to this world. Given that his second coming will be an extraordinary, miraculous, and metaphysical event that will affect the whole world, all believers should prepare and mobilize to welcome him in the best possible way. The excitement, love, and morale invested in these preparations will be an actual prayer, and those who do not prepare will feel great remorse when he returns. All of the signs indicate that the second coming will take place soon, so there is no time to waste.

STATEMENTS IN THE TORAH AND THE BIBLE

So far, we have only looked at the Islamic sources, which contain a great deal of information about the End Times. No matter how corrupted their texts may be, however, the Torah and the Bible still contain some good news about Prophet Jesus' (pbuh) return. Even if we cannot be completely sure of their accuracy, it is useful to bear in mind those that are compatible with the Qur'n and the prophetic hadiths, for there is a strong likelihood that all such statements that are compatible with those in the Islamic sources have kept their original form.

The name of Prophet Jesus (pbuh) does not appear in the Old Testament, although we are told that a savior, a Messiah, will come from the line of Prophet David (pbuh). The Jews refused to accept that Prophet Jesus (pbuh) was sent to the Children of Israel, and so rejected him. Thus, they are still waiting for their 'Messiah-savior' to come. Moreover, the Old Testament also contains some references to the End Times.

The New Testament, on the other hand, contains a great many statements on these subjects, especially of the second coming of Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and its signs. These statements describe the natural events that will mark the times before and after his second coming. Most of the portents are set out in some detail in the prophetic hadiths as coming about in our day in a more striking manner than in any earlier time. It is important to realize that not just one or two of the signs are appearing in our day, but that just about all of them, one after the other, are doing so. Thus we can say, based particularly on Islamic sources but also on the Old Testament and the New Testament, that we are living in the End Times.”

A day will come when humans will not be interested in God and His Resurrection anymore. That is the time when Lord Jesus will appear to annihilate those bent on pursuing wicked ways and beyond redemption. That will be the dreaded Second Coming.

But "Before the great day of the Lord shall come" humans will be given a chance to redeem themselves and evolve themselves into higher beings. This is the Night of Power (surah 97:1-5 Al Qadr) that will last for decades, perhaps even centuries.

At present there are hundreds of millions of God-fearing beings looking for His Sure Signs (Bayyinat). There are just as many that have become disillusioned by the falsehood, hype, and hypocrisy of the organized cults, and have left them. There are, again, just as many who have become captives of blind faith, completely unaware of the depth of deception of these religious regimes. Brainwashed Christians, Muslim fundamentalists and Jewish zealots are waiting for graves to rapture open, zombies to emerge, ordinary humans to shriek and freak, and billions of beings to be barbecued in His fearsome Fire.

Given the deep divisions, hatred and enmity between religious institutions, each trumpeting their own exclusive salvation theories, it is inconceivable that the Almighty Creator will act without warning and massacre most of His Human Family. This is precisely what the fear mongering institutionalized religions believe He will do - not to their followers, but to all others. These religious regimes, after having cornered Allah into their Mosque, Church, Synagogue and Temple, are swearing they are the chosen ones!

Given the dire state of affairs Allah had to send His Spirit, backed by all the Holy Scriptures and Sure Signs (Bayyinat), to put things right. There had to be an explosion of Truth, the fulfillment of all prophecies, and the Declaration of Qiyamah to force humankind to make a choice. This has been done. Humans have to now confirm with their own faculties if these Revelations are indeed the Truth. If they believe so then they are to resurrect themselves spiritually through the Baptism of Allah within, and be judged whether they are eligible to enter His Kingdom. This is the precise meaning of the Great Announcement (surah 78:1-5 An-Naba) of Qiyamah as proclaimed by His Ruh Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.

Judgment Day and the Resurrection are two different time frames. Resurrection (Al Qadr) is the Proclamation to all the nations of the Truth of His Kingdom, His Divine Unity, His Ultimate Reality (Al-Haqqah), and His Offer of Salvation. Judgment Day (al Qariah) is the Second Advent of Christ and the End Times when humans - completely devoid of divinity and desire for the Hereafter - are extinguished.

By falsely interpreting Qiyamah as Judgment Day the Thieves of Truth authorized themselves to defile and disfigure His Offer of Love, Mercy and Compassion. This satanic interpretation of Qiyamah has now severely, perhaps even irreversibly, retarded Muslim salvation. How are they going to accept something they were never preached. For centuries they have been indoctrinated that Qiyamah is Judgment Day when the 'dead will come out of the graves' to be judged. According to Allah's Ruh Shri Mataji the people of Adam have misunderstood this priceless parable.

But what about the billions of Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains and others who have been cremated, their ashes spread all over Earth and washed into the seven seas? Are the Muslim scholars suggesting that half of the human race will not be resurrected because Allah made a terrible blunder? Truth is All-Pervading and cannot be subject to error, ambiguity or doubt. If it is then be assured that it is not Truth.

His Ruh has revealed that all souls will be reborn again again to face the Resurrection that will be known worldwide in this century and all humans, irrespective of race or religion, subject to it. The Muslims are the ones categorically told about Resurrection in the Qur'n for they are the most fanatical and, as the Qur'n predicts, will reject this Truth and stalk back to their families in full conceit (surah 75:33)! Even if they do not accept this Truth they still will be judged as Allah immediately curses them for their arrogance: "Woe to thee, yea, woe.” (surah 75:34)

So be forewarned, deceived ones, be forewarned!
